Your mail no longer working?  I switched mail servers and am now hosting mail externally on a hosting service.

This guidance is only for Outlook but in general, everything is the same configuration as the old mail server.  Your email addresses are still the same as is your password.  Except, I had to change your account names or how Outlook calls it User Names. Where they used to be just your first name “fred”, they are now your email address with the “@” changed to a “+”.

So a stawart.com email accounts are like fred+stawart.com .

First thing, fire up Outlook.  Go to account settings as shown in Figure 1 below.

Then select your current (and probably broken) stawart.com email account and then hit change as shown with “Fred” below in figure 2. On Outlook 2003, this is a button on the right side of the window.

Now for the hard part.  Look at your current username and take note of what it is. Your new account is the same as it was plus add “+stawart.com”. In Fred’s case, his username was simply “Fred” and now its “fred+stawart.com” as shown in figure 3.  Don’t forget that its not “ fred@stawart.com “, its “fred+stawart.com”. Then hit next.  You should be done!
